Launching People and Climate Action in Private Markets (PCAP)
Recorded December 17, 2025
Achieving global climate goals will require US$7.4 trillion in annual investment through 2030, underscoring the critical role of private capital in driving the just transition across sectors and scaling innovative climate solutions. Effectively deployed investments can drive decent work with fair incomes, increase clean energy access, strengthen public health, and help to build more resilient economies. But done poorly, they risk job losses, community harm, and affordability challenges, alongside regulatory and transition risks for investors.
With generous support from the Laudes Foundation, BSR is launching People and Climate Action in Private Markets (PCAP), an initiative to advance a people-centered approach to climate action—one that respects human rights and drives a just and inclusive transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy.
Join us to launch PCAP and explore:
How to integrate human rights and just transition principles into private capital climate strategies
